Last year, we completely replaced the heating system and were also looking for Furnace Dealers in Langley, BC, so as not to bother with visiting companies from Surrey or Vancouver. There are a lot of options, though. At first, I also stupidly read reviews, but then I realized that it is important to call and talk - you can immediately see who is interested in you, and who is just reading a script. We talked to three companies, and eventually settled on Langley Heating & Air - they did not just come to look at the house, but took measurements, asked how long we live, what our heating habits are (for example, I am often at home, and my husband only comes home in the evening, and it is important for us that it is not too hot in the bedroom at night, and warm in the daytime area). The guys offered us a furnace from Goodman, although at first I wanted something "branded" like Lennox or Trane. But after explanations and comparisons of efficiency, noise and durability, Goodman turned out to be optimal - especially in terms of price. Plus they have a 10-year warranty, but only if installed through a certified dealer, and they did all the paperwork for us right away. The installation itself took one day - quiet, clean, they cleaned up after themselves, even disposed of the old stove for free. We have two cats - I was worried that there would be problems with dust and noise, but everything turned out to be calm.

Thank you, very useful. I myself have recently moved to Langley and am still looking at housing, but the topic is interesting - especially since our winters can be serious. It is nice that there are adequate furnace dealers in Langley, BC who work in a humane manner. I will need to write down the names, they will come in handy.
